Hello, once again!
Almost 2.5 years since the first Kickstarter campaign, and we're close! Super close! Volume One is almost done. A huge milestone! Ahhhhh!!!
I'm just doing final touch-ups, final detailing. This still takes a little time but all the art is down and after a little more TLC we should be good! Later this week or early next week at the absolute latest. Rahh!!
BackerKit:
For everyone who has ordered add-ons through BackerKit, you may have received an email about this already but just in case- I wanted to mention it here too: BackerKit will be charging credit cards January 15th.
Schedule:
Late next week digital rewards will be going out and files will be getting sent to the printers. I'll have updates when I have specifics on those things.

Greetings and salutations!!
So yes, it's getting close but still not quite there. I've been working overtime on issue 9 but still have a few more weeks to go before the art is done.
I do want to apologize for not being on target with my estimates for getting the book done. During the Kickstarter campaign, I felt like I was ahead of schedule with Issue 8 and thought issue 9 would be done within a two-month period. Sometimes it's simply just hard to estimate the amount of time it's going to take. Some scenes are just more difficult to draw than others, and 9 has been a lot of fun, but is just taking a while!
Especially those of you new to the project-- I do want you to know I work on this project constantly-every spare moment I have goes into these. First priority is to make them the best quality I can, yet at the same time, I try to be as efficient as possible so the wait isn't too long.
Right now I anticipate being done with the art around the second week of January. The PDF's and ebook versions will be available then and I will be sending files to the printer for proofing then as well.
As usual, I'll keep you in the loop as soon as things wind down. I can't wait to finish this up and get these books to you all. Won't be long I promise!

BackerKit Surveys and Rewards Timeline

Hi everyone,
Just another heads up on the latest. Issue 9 is moving right along. I think I should be done in about a month?
I'll be sending out surveys in the next few days via Backerkit. If you want to add any add-ons or switch add-ons I'll be taking orders on there through mid-December. I will give you notice to the specific date when the Backerkit campaign is ending as that is when they charge your card. Other than that, if you're not ordering anything it shouldn't be too much different than a standard Kickstarter Survey.
Timeline:
Once I am done with the art for Issue 9, and Volume 1 is complete ( est mid-December) :
-PDF's will be ready almost immediately. Epub book rewards will be ready shortly after.
-I will be sending out files to the printer. Getting proofs generally take several weeks (this season is busy for book printers). Once proofs look good, I place an order for all the books and begin shipping.
- So expect book orders a little bit after the holidays!

Hi everyone,
Just wanted to give you an update on how things are going in Girrion town and let you know things are indeed moving forward!
Issue 8 is complete! Took me a few weeks longer than expected to wrap up with edits, but that's how it goes sometimes (or pretty much that's how it always goes).
Issue 9 is currently in pencil phase.It's not as far along as planned, mainly because I just moved to a new apartment and long story short-- it's been a crazy few weeks! I've been drawing while sitting on a cardboard box for this past week if that gives you an idea.
Estimate fulfillment date is now in December (originally November) at least for the books.
Also, I'll be using Backerkit this time around to send out orders. I'll send out an update here before the surveys go out. Should be in a few weeks or so.

Thanks everyone for your tremendous support! This is a major milestone for the project and this campaign went amazingly well. You've all been so incredibly generous. Thank you so, so much!
It's kinda crazy to think how far things have already come. I started page 1 of issue 1 well over two years ago and here we are six Kickstarter campaigns and two hundred pages later. This project has been something I've wanted to put out there for so, so long and thanks to you all this dream has become a reality.
Right now I'm very close to completing issue 8. Just touch-ups and edits are left. Issue 9 is in thumbnaill stage. Hopefully, I'll be able to start pencils within the next week or so.
So just 24 pages to go!
Thanks to you all! You are all awesome! I will keep you in the loop with updates.
